VALENTINES MERINGUE HEARTS
It's my first time making meringue and it is SO easy!
For about 12 medium sized meringue cookies.
Preheat oven to 175F / 80C
2 egg whites
1/2 cup / 100g sugar
A pinch cream of tartar (if you have it)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract!
Put the egg whites with the sugar and cream of tartar in a heatproof bowl, and place it in a simmering pan. Mix with an electric mixer until warm and sugar dissolved, about 3 to 3 1/3 minute.
Take the bowl off the heat, and continue to whisk for a long time! About 10 minutes. Start slow and speed up.
Add vanilla, and food coloring if you want. Mix well.
Put in a piping bag and pipe onto parchment paper.
Place in the oven right away and let them stay for about 2 hours.
I didnt have parchment paper...
After two hours + chilling
